Site Survey Technician will survey our customer sites and develop scope of work documents for our customers and our technicians. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed to interface in technical and non-technical terms to resellers and end-user customers’ IT staff. The main purpose of this role is to develop plans that satisfy the customer’s needs, manage costs for the company, and provide insight to the installation technicians about what will be needed to complete their jobs in the most efficient manner possible. A Site Survey Technician may also be required to perform service restorations or dispatch on trouble calls. Other responsibilities include; coordinate required activities with the Network Operations Center (NOC) personnel in the isolation and resolution of network problems; work as a part of a cross-functional team to conduct routine preventative and corrective maintenance activities to support Network Deployment, Performance, and Reliability initiatives; troubleshoot problems on his/her own related to the network; provide process improvement input as needed; administer an intermediate level analysis for fault isolation as it pertains to wireless, fiber optics, T-1, telemetry, and voice and data circuits; perform fiber terminations (mechanical terminations and fusion splicing), and run structured cable in many different building environments.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 Years of Cisco WAN/LAN-Related Experience
  • 1-2 Years of Telecommunications’ Experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
  • Basic VOIP/SIP Understanding
  • The Ability to Troubleshoot Network-Related Issues: Cisco Networking, IPs, & Subnets
